The word cryptocurrency is very popular today. Nevertheless, many still have no idea how it works, what its uses are and what possibilities it offers. Some consider it a speculative investment, others perceive it as a currency of the future. However, one option is to earn passive income through “staking”.

Staking is a mechanism where a user provides their coins as liquidity to a network that is used to verify transactions and create new coins, similar to Proof-of-Work cryptocurrency mining.

The Proof of Stake protocol and staking itself gained a lot of popularity in the world of decentralized finance during 2021, with the volume of locked coins growing from $19 billion to $276 billion during the year.

Staking rewards are a kind of incentive that blockchains provide to their users. Thanks to proof of stake, every user can create passive income today, but what matters is when they enter the market and which blockchain or token they choose. “We are working with a DeFi project. Therefore, the user does not send his money to any institution that has it in the report. Each client sets up his own wallet in which he holds his cryptocurrency. He can then delegate this – stake and thus obtain a daily profit that comes from transaction fees.
